The active horse community hosts one of North Carolina’s oldest fox hunts. |

A intriguing stairway leads to two bedrooms and bath on the third floor. The Soho-like rooms offer a very private guest retreat. Comprehensively renovated in 2003, the residence boasts a generator capable of running the entire house, 50 year cedar shake roof, and 50 year primed cedar shingle siding. Once known as the Blue Shutter Cottage, the captivating cottage is a short walk from the Pinehurst Village, Post Office, shops and restaurants and library.
