Maureen Clark is a rare Southern Pines native with lifelong ties to the Sandhills. She is a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate who loves introducing newcomers from across the country to her native state. A member of the Moore County equestrian community who has ridden the local trails since childhood, Maureen specializes in golf club properties, fine homes, Southern Pines horse farms, estates, and land. A love and knowledge of the area, a flair for marketing, a wonderful network of friends and family, combined with an innate willingness to go “out of her way” for clients distinguish Maureen as a real estate broker. Maureen has a family of five children (three sons and two daughters), two granddaughters, and hobbies that include foxhunting, tennis, reading, writing and gardening. A quiet passion for Maureen is the study her father’s (Col. H.E. Hassenfelt’s) history with the 30th Division in Europe during WWII. Prior to a career in real estate, Maureen was an editorial page columnist with the Fayetteville Observer Times, both a political and private nonprofit fundraiser, member of the Cumberland County Board of Education, board member of the NC Center for Public Policy Research, and Chairman of the Task Force on Child Poverty for the Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce. 
Clair Clark brings a distinct talent for marketing and design, an ability to listen to a client’s very specific needs and the energy to make it happen for them to her association with the Clark Properties boutique at Prudential GOS Real Estate. A background as a design consultant in both commercial and residential construction in the Triangle area of North Carolina bolster Clair’s knowledge and experience in the marketing and sale of quality homes. A graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria Virginia, North Carolina State University in Raleigh and graduate studies at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington DC, Clair has recently acquired her LEED certification in green technology. Her hobbies include running, painting, cooking and photography. |
